A popular seafood festival in the Jersey shore during the month of June usually on the second weekend, rain or shine.  And believe me, we have eaten in the rain and not be phased when the food is good.  The event starts at 11AM but get here early as this event fills up quickly.  Getting a picnic table to enjoy your food will be easier the earlier you get there.  Parking is available on the street but finding spots are easier if you get there early.  There is no entrance fee (just money for food).

The choice of food is huge.  You can get steamed lobsters with melted butter and corn, steamed and raw clams and mussels, broiled, steamed, fried shrimps, fried clam strips, butterfly fries, sweet potatoe fries, zeppoles, jambalaya, chowders, and other great foods.  There are also live band entertainment, crafts, wine tasting, and kids activities.

The event is also near the broadwalk and the beach to take in the sun and walk off the food to only come back for some more.
Soft-shell steamed lobsters from one of three vendors.  Prices vary from vendor so walk around.  These lobsters are usually less than 1 1/4 pounders.  No claw crackers are given but with a little work, you can get at the knuckles.  Corn is not usually good, just soft and spongy.
Raw oysters.  Good.

Raw clams.  Good.
